SMARTNESS 2030 realized its inaugural workshop on April 18th and 19th, marking a significant milestone in fostering collaborative innovation. Hosted at FUNCAMP CPV meeting rooms, the internal event aimed to catalyze discussions and initiatives among associated researchers toward alignment of ongoing Work Packages and collaborative shaping of activities upfront.
UNICAMP, UFSCar, and USP, alongside many universities engaged in collaborative efforts, congregated to explore novel avenues of cooperation. Over two dynamic days, up to 60 participants (40 in-person + 20 remote) immersed themselves in the workshop agenda, which included a spirited Scientific Hackathon to leverage the expertise to generate diverse papers, surveys, and demos.
The Scientific Hackathon served as a platform for forging meaningful connections and synergies between stakeholders, propelling the mission of SMARTNESS 2030. By harnessing the collective ingenuity of its network, the workshop exemplified a commitment to driving innovation and advancing the frontiers of smart networked technologies.
Stay tuned for further updates as SMARTNESS 2030 continues its journey towards realizing a smarter, more connected future.
