From April 7 to 11, 2025, representatives of CPE SMARTNESS visited Ericsson’s headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden, for a series of technical activities and in-person meetings. The delegation included Professors Christian Rodolfo Esteve Rothenberg and Luiz Fernado Bittencourt (UNICAMP), Professor Fábio Luciano Verdi (UFSCar), and researcher Maria Valéria Marquezini (Ericsson Research Brazil).
As part of the visit, the group participated in several technical meetings with researchers from Ericsson Research. The discussions cover topics such as Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Computing, and Software.
In addition to the meetings, the delegation engaged in face-to-face meetings to discuss the progress of the SMARTNESS project. They also toured the Ericsson Imagine Studio, where they explored new technological solutions and innovations.
The visit helped align ongoing activities between SMARTNESS and Ericsson, reinforcing cooperation and promoting knowledge exchange among the teams. The interactions contributed to the advancement of the project’s objectives and future collaboration efforts.
