SMARTNESS congratulates Prof. Fernando J. Von Zuben and researcher Heictor Costa, members of the Center, for receiving the Best Paper Award at the Brazilian Congress on Computational Intelligence (CBIC 2025).
The awarded paper, titled “Hybrid Offline–Online UAV Optimal Path Planning and Outburst Dynamic Autonomous Behavior”, was recognized by the CBIC committee for its scientific relevance and practical impact in the fields of computational intelligence and autonomous robotics.
