BERLIN, Germany — July 6, 2026 — Attendees of IEEE NetSoft 2026 visited the headquarters of BENOCS in Berlin for an exclusive industry-academia exchange, featuring a dedicated round table and a technical presentation on the research activities of the SMARTNESS Research Center.
The event provided a global platform for technical discussions surrounding programmable networks, internet traffic analytics, and smart network management. The SMARTNESS delegation highlighted research outcomes in data-plane programmability, high-throughput traffic reproduction, and AI-assisted network operations developed at UNICAMP in partnership with FAPESP and Ericsson.
The visit reinforced SMARTNESS’s commitment to international collaboration, bridging academic research in Brazil with leading network technology providers in Europe.
